Vießen originally came to light around 3000 years ago in German mythology, but were based off real creatures locals saw. They are gentle shape-shifters, capable of time and space travel, if records keep up. Vießen have been known to live almost as long as a Time-Lord, a being they are quite similar to.

Vießen have lived in deciduous areas of Europe for millennia and are good at keeping to the undergrowth and being undiscovered. From what little has been gleaned off observations of these elusive beasts, we now know that many prefer dark caves or like the safety of densely packed trees, depending on their animal shape-shift.

What would he do? He stopped to think about it, when his stomach gave a low growl. He hadn't eaten for several hours, and was starving. Turning back to face the lake, he wondered if there were any fish in it, so he peered over, but all he saw was black nothingness.
"Great," he murmured, unsure of what to do now. Deciding he wouldn't reach Belatona before nightfall if he decided to try and hunt, he thought about setting up a camp. 'Yes, that's what I'll do' he thought to himself, whilst finding a relatively flat piece of ground.
